love letter to my boots, from the bottom of my sole

I took a walk today in my trail boots, which I had swapped out a couple of months ago for something more floral and fashion-forward for scooting around the city.

It felt so good. So good. It’s a mild early-March day, and I found myself breathing deep, daydreaming about cold days and nights to come breathing in the salty ocean air of Newfoundland.

delicious anticipation

  1. Have you made it all the way to Newfoundland? If so make sure that you see everything cause it is so beautiful and laid back. We were there in 2006. I drove all the way across Canada with Bill and I would have like to stay longer there but Bill was getting antsy to get back home. We love reading all your posts and knowing that you are o.k.
